Fun-Astronomy Gallery Amateur astrophotography from Zagreb, Croatia

Capturing deep-sky objects from Zagreb.

Fun-Astronomy Gallery is my personal astrophotography archive — a place where I collect and share my images of galaxies, nebulae, the Moon, and other night-sky targets captured with a small telescope setup from Zagreb, Croatia.

My astronomy work

I enjoy spending clear nights under the sky, capturing faint galaxies, nebulae, and lunar details with my telescope setup. Some nights are all about collecting long exposures, while others are about testing gear, improving guiding, or trying to get a cleaner result from the same target.

I keep the technical details next to each image because I like being able to look back and see exactly how it was captured: the gear used, filters, exposure times, number of frames, integration time, software, and location.

Location

Images are captured from Zagreb, Croatia. Shooting from a city means dealing with light pollution, weather, seeing conditions, and limited clear-sky windows.

My setup is built around a permanent concrete base with a fixed metal pier, which helps keep the mount position stable and makes repeated imaging sessions easier to set up.
